During a joint detour in the area of Danube Bridge border checkpoint of border police and customs officer with a dog, trained to detect drugs, was selected for inspection a car with Bulgarian registration with two Bulgarian citizens. After positive response of the dog, Customs officers scanned the vehicle with a mobile X-ray system. In secret compartments of vehicle were found 100 packages of heroin. The weight of the narcotic substance is about 54 kg, intended for Western Europe. The case is under investigation.
