The President of the Bulgarian Football Union Georgi Ivanov took part in the 49th UEFA Ordinary Congress. The meeting was held at the Sava Congress Centre in Belgrade, Serbia.
The event kicked off with introductory speeches by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin.
Among the main items on the agenda were the election of the UEFA Executive Committee, a new FIFA Council, the ratification of the representative of the European leagues on the UEFA Executive Committee for a four-year term, the report of the UEFA President and Executive Committee and the report of the UEFA Administration for 2023/24.
The Congress also presented the financial report and financial statements for 2023/24, the budget for the 2025/26 financial year and an update on the UEFA committees.
