The President of the Bulgarian Football Union Georgi Ivanov watched live two of the matches of the World Club Championship, which is currently taking place in the United States of America. Ivanov was one of the special guests at the competition, organized by FIFA, which this year has a new, revolutionary format and includes 32 teams and a total of 63 matches.
The BFU President attended two of the matches in Miami: Boca Juniors - Benfica (2:2) and Real Madrid - Al Hilal (1:1). Upon his arrival on American soil, Georgi Ivanov saw FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who is the founder of the global project.
The match between Real Madrid and Al Hilal was filled with a star presence not only on the pitch, but also in the stands, and among the football celebrities were the names of Roberto Baggio, Roberto Carlos, Emilio Butragueño, Davor Schuker and others.
Along with attending the two Club World Cup matches, Georgi Ivanov also took part in a FIFA football seminar, part of the expert panel of which were Arsene Wenger, the current Head of FIFA's Global Football Development, and Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
