Bulgaria Under-21 national team lost to Greece U21 0:1 in its second friendly game, which was played at the national Football Base in Boyana. Three days earlier Bulgaria won against Georgia 1:0 in another friendly game at the Home of Football. The games were part of the team`s prepratation for the European qualifiers in September.
First half
The first shot came in the 4th minute when Lamprou tried to score from distance, but Mihaylov saved. Six minutes later Stoych Atanasov found with a nice pass Peshov on the right flang, but his shot went wide. Until the end of the first part Manthatis, Galanopoulos and Koulouris found themselves in good positions, but missed the target.
Second part
The guest opened the scoring three minutes after the start of the second part. Anthanasios-Georgios Andrutsas netted the ball with a shot from close range. Until the end of the game the Bulgarians could have equalized, but Astras saved Yusein`s shot in the 53rd minute. Ten minutes later Martin Kostadiov also missed a good opportunity and game ended with a victory for Greece.
