Bulgaria U18 team coached by Victorio Paul qualified for the quarterfinals of the international tournament "Valentin Granatkin" taking place in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Bulgaria lost its last match of group "A" against Greece 0:4 but finished second in the standings and will participate in the next phase.
Ioannis Tsingos, Konstantinos Chatzidimpas, Georgios Tzovaras, Athanasios Kostanasios scored the goals for Greece.
Bulgaria also had their chances but Ivan Mitrev, Lachezar Georgiev and Martin Minchev missed the target, as Errol Dost missed a penalty in 67 minute of the match.
Bulgaria`s next match will be against Russia. The match will be played on 15.01.2017, Sunday at 18:00 (CET).
