BFU president Borislav Mihaylov received a special development award. That happened during the ceremony dedicated to Player of 2016. Mihaylov was awarded the prize for building the Sport Center of Bulgarian Football Union in Boyana (Home of football), which was inaugurated on November 2016.
"It was a huge work for all of us in BFU. Thanks to everyone - the state, the municipality, mostly UEFA and FIFA, which provided the funding for building the project. I am very proud for what we have achieved" said Mihaylov at the ceremony in Sofia.
