The Head coach of "A" national team of Bulgaria Petar Hubchev was special guest at the ceremony of laying a new bell in the "International Park of the children of the world" in Sofia. The bell symbolizes the unity between children and peace and understanding between different nations and religions has been donated by Swiss football club FC Basel top supporters and it features the official club logo. The celebration was held with the help of the Italian Lyceum in Gorna Banya.
"I am glad to be special guest at the ceremony dedicated to peace and harmony between the nations. The idea is magnificent. Of course children are the future of the planet and the most important is to live in peace and understanding, regardless of religion, nation and color.
At the end of the celebration, Hubchev donated Bulgaria shirts with his signature to Basel top fans representative Andre Frosard and the Swiss Ambassador Denis Knob. Children music choir of the Italian Lyceum received balls and autographs.
"I want to thank Bulgarian Football Union and Mr. Hubchev for the attention and respect they showed us. We are making this donation because we noticed that the bell of Switzerland is missing, and as you know Basel is the most popular team in our country. Peace and reconciliation must be a priority for everyone in the world, " said the representative of Basel top supporters Andre Frosard.
"Congratulations on the initiative and special thanks to the Bulgarian Football Union for the support. We are very pleased. I wish Peter and the Bulgaria football team the best of luck in the upcoming matches" said the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation Mr. Dennis Knob, who has attended the ceremony.
