The kit were released by the spanish brand Joma in memory of those who lost their lives in the famous April uprising - 140 years ago. The official shirt is in the traditional colours of white, green and red, while the reserve shirt is green. Part of the kit are several elements, which are emblematic for this well known historical event. Onto the chest of the Bulgarian internationals will lay the emblem of a lion in a shield - a revived character, who is based on the coat of arms of King Ferdinand I, which at the time was the official emblem of Bulgaria.

"The new shirts are awesome and I hope that we are going to have many good results wearing them.We will have enough time to introduce ourselves to the new Head Coach. I hope to have common success along. I was slightly surprised by the coach change, but i`m sure that in the end everything will be in order" said goalkeeper Bozhidar Mitrev to the media on Monday.

"The new shirts are really nice! Actually I do not want to comment the change of the Head Coach. Regarding the upcoming games against France and Sweden I can say that the tension should lie over our opponents, because they are favourites to take the win on both occasions. We have nothing to lose and nothing to fear. We must fight hard to achieve a good results", told the media representatives Mihail Aleksandrov.
"I'm so glad to be here again and to be available after the injury that ruled me out from the national team last time. Both games will be very difficult. We must work hard and we must show desire to win in all 90 minutes. The adaptation for me in Polish football with Lechia Gdansk is going quite well until now" said Simeon Slavchev.

"France and Sweden are very strong rivals. In our team there are guys who play abroad in some strong teams. I am quite sure that the coach will make a good analysis of how to play. We will try to suprise our oponents and to make happy the Bulgarian fans" said Martin Raynov.

On behalf of the Bulgarian Football Union the new official kit were presented by the Deputy Executive Director Pavel Kolev.

"This project is a continuation of our partnership with Joma, entirely dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the April Uprising. In it there are many details. We have set the patriotic note, so we staked the lion standing in the grand posture facing heraldic right and against the red shield. I hope that the new shirt will inspire the team for the rest of the qualifiers and will bring good luck to our players" said Kolev .
