Bulgaria “A” coach Ivaylo Petev and the national player Ivelin Popov officially closed out the tournament „3:0 for the people”, which was organized with the support of the Bulgarian Football Union. 6 teams, representing associations fighting against various addictions took part in the competition which was held at the “Barocco sport” sports complex in Sofia.
The teams of “Second chance”, “New beginning”, “Bilani”, “Betel”, “Solidarity” and “Open eyes” have played not only efficient but also very attractive games as the the referees Hristiyana Guteva, Antoaneta Pancheva and Gergana Tsankova took charge of the matches.
The team of “Open eyes” deservedly won the tournament after beating “Bilani” 4:1 in the final.
The main message of the event was that: “Not all people are addicts, but all addicts are people”!
Ivaylo Petev and Ivelin Popov gave away football balls and jerseys that they autographed to the participants.
The two also congratulated the participants on behalf of all the “A” team national players.
