From 18th to 24 th July, 2016 in Sliven were held the summer referees and assistant referees seminars in the First and Second professional league as well as U17 / U19 championships. On 21st July, was held the seminar for the referee observers in professional football. Throughout the week, the BFU President adviser on the refereeing - Mr. Mark Bata did not spare time and energy to share his experience and knowledge with all participants. The organization was on traditionally good level and despite the large groups the program was kept very strictly. The referees and assistant referees covered new FIFA fitness tests and combined "video theoretical" test which proved to be an easy task for the majority part of them.
They also had to exercise some situations on the pitch with players from the youth academy of FC "Sliven". Most attention was paid to the topic "Protection of players", "Management of the game and the players," "Referee personality", "Reading the game," "Advantage", "Teamwork", "Communication" and to the new amendments of the "Lows of the Game" that came into effect as of 1st June.
Еfforts, commitment and the professional attitude of all who were involved gave serious reason for optimism to Mr. Bata and BFU Referee Committee on the eve of the new season.
