Bulgaria`s national players gave start to the BFU`s “Let`s kick” campaign which purpose is to support and develop children, women and youth football in Bulgaria. Ivaylo Petev`s team played an exhibition match with children without parental care at the “Vasil Levski” national stadium. The children are representatives of FC “Concordia” which is part of the Concordia Bulgaria Foundation. The foundation offers social services and support for children at risk in Bulgaria since 2008. The captain Ivelin Popov, Ivaylo Chochev, Bozhidar Mitrev, Dimitar Rangelov and all the other national players took part in the game which was handled by the referee Hristyana Guteva. The match was very emotional for the children who lived their dream and played at the national stadium with Bulgaria`s football stars. In the end of the game the kids received an autographed national football jersey and other awards.
After the end of the game Bulgaria began its preparation for the “Kirin Cup” tournament in Japan.
The next event of "Let's kick” campaign is the “Mini Euro 2016” tournament which will be held on 1-2 June at the “Vasil Levski” national stadium. 24 schools will take part in the championship and will represent the 24 participants of the EURO 2016 in France.
