Czech Republic and Bulgaria finished 0-0 after a combating game at Stadium d'Honneur in Salon de Provence. That result gave Anti Zdravkov`s team the first point of the Youth Tournament in Toulon, after loosing 0:1 against the host nation France in the first round.
Both teams have showed solids defenses, and the first half was almost devoid from goalscoring opportunities.
However, Bulgaria was close to open the score in the 9-th minute. After a great work on the right side, Despodov provide good cross to Minchev but the forward missed the ball.
In 39-th minute Minchev tried to score from a long range, but his powerful shot finished directly in the goalkeeper`s hands.
In the start of the second half Minchev for Bulgaria (45') and Chory for the Czech Republic (48') had opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net, but they both missed the target.
In the 61-th minute Hulka tried to score with a header, after a fine cross from corner kick, but Bulgarian keeper Georgi Kitanov made a briliant save.

This was the last chance for both teams to open the score in this very close game.
The result means that Bulgaria is on 4-th place of the table and the Czech Republic remains top of the group with seven points. Bulgaria who is with the game in hand will face Mexico on tuesday (24.05). In his last match of the group phase Czech Republic will play against Mali on 26 of May
