The Bulgarian Football Union was host of a seminar based on the topic of "The role of the Coordinator during football matches and recommendations of UEFA", held in Sofia. Coordinators for relations with club supporters from all over the country, as well as representatives of the Sofia Police Directorate of Internal affairs and the Ministry of Interior participated in the seminar. The consultant of the project “Coordinator – relations with supporters” - Loukas Anastasiadis and the coordinator of the Swedish supporters of Djurgården – Lena Gustafson were special guests of the seminar.
The seminar was opened by the Deputy Executive Director of the Bulgarian Football Union Pavel Kolev, who welcomed the participants on behalf of President Borislav Mihailov and expressed full support of the governance of the BFU to the work of the coordinators for relations with supporters.

“Supporters are the lifeblood of football. These are the people who uphold the spirit of football. We need to work in synchronization with the fans, police, security firms and representatives of clubs. The most important thing is the communication between different units to see more smiling and happy people at the stadiums, "said the expert on relations with supporters of the Bulgarian Football Union Dimitar Hristov, who was leading the seminar.

"For us it is important to hear the voice of football fans, our idea is to be partners and to work together to improve the communication between supporters, clubs and federations," said Loukas Anastasiadis.

The Coordinators for relations with supporters discussed various issues with the Head of Department "Sports-Technical" of the Bulgarian Football Union - Nedelcho Mihaylov.
The presentation of Lena Gustafsson was of particular interest, who explained the work, tasks and objectives of the coordinator for relations with supporters in Djurgården and shared the ways of communication with the police and relations with the visiting fans in Sweden.

The security of fans, the participation of coordinators in the technical conferences before matches, the distribution of tickets to visiting fans and the use of pyrotechnics at the stadiums were among the highlights of the meeting.
