Bulgaria U17 beat Westfalia U17 with 2:0 in a friendly game played in Germany where the team is in training camp.
The Bulgarians took the initiative from the start of the game and dominated at “Sv Habern” stadium in Habern (Asheberg).
Four minutes after the start Atanas Kabov stole the ball after a misunderstanding between the central defenders and shot, but the goalkeeper saved. Shortly thereafter Nikola Gavov tried a shot infront of the penalty area but the ball went centimeters from the post. In the 13th minute Ivan Tilev outplayed the defence and tried a shot, but Westfalia`s goalkeepr saved again.
Soon afterwards, the “lions” opened the score. Martin Milkov made a fine run by the left side, shot and the ball ricocheted of the post in to the goal.
Seven minutes before the break Atanas Kabov tried to double the score with a long shot but missed the target. Still Levski Sofia`s forward managed to score in the final minutes of the first half.
In the second half the two teams slowed down the tempo and the game ended 2:0.
