Bulgaria U21 on fire against Luxembourg

Bulgaria Under 21 took his second consecutive win in qualifying group 5 for Euro 2017 in Poland against Luxembourg 3:0.

The game was held at „Ludogoretz Arena“ in Razgrad in front of 3000 spectators.

There wеre no changes in the starting eleven for Bulgaria, in comparison with the team who won three days ago against Romania. 

From the very beginning of the match the Bulgarian young guns had superior possession of the ball and tried to open the score  as soon as possible. 

This happened on 17-th minute when Borislav Tsonev rose to met the cross from Antonio Vutov, and put the ball home with a perfect header.

In the 19-th minute Dragovic took the only shot toward the Bulgarian goal for the first part, but the ball passed beside the bar.

In the 29-th minute Kiril Despodov entered to substitute the injured Borislav Tsonev. Six minutes later Bulgaria doubled the score. Miki Orachev passed to Antonio Vutov who made it 2:0 with a beautiful diagonal shot.

In the last minute of the first half, Vogel from the visitors received red card, after giving away a dangerous foul on Despodov right in front of the penalty area. 

In the second half Bulgaria continued to push for a third goal, as controling the ball well, and tried to take advantage on it`s superior numbers. 

As a result of that has come the third goal, which was scored by Kiril Despodov, who put the ball on the back of the net using Hristo Popadins right-foot cross. 

The match finished 3:0 and the young Bulgarians wеre pleased to hear a deserving standing ovation from the stands.

Bulgaria will play against Armenia at stadium „Beroe“ in Stara Zagora on 9-th of October, and Denmark at Stadium „Aalborg“ on 13-th October.
