Bulgaria were drawn in qualifying group "A" for 2018 Word Cup, alongside France, Netherlands, Sweden, Belarus and Luxenbourg.
"Whithout doubt this is one of the toughest groups in this quilifying campaign. We are among world powers like the Netherlands and France, and we all know how stong team is Sweden. Of course we will try to show our best, and to be competitive. We known that France, the Netherlands and Sweden are considered as favorites for the first three places, but this doesn`t mean that we will surrender easily. We will try to fight till the end in this difficult group" said the national team head coach Ivailo Petev, who attended the ceremony in St. Petersburg.
