Bulgaria won the Еurofan international tournament for third consecutive year. This is an annual football tournament for European fans' teams. The festival is being organized every summer since 2007. The mission of Eurofan is to develop friendship and respect between European fans and establish a spirit of sportsmanship. During the event, fans gathered and donated money for kids with difficulties.
Traditionally the tournament took place in the city of Lviv (Ukraine). The Bulgarian Football Union helped the team by covering the travel expenses.
The Bulgarians scored 26 goals and conceded only one.
In the first phase of the tournament Bulgaria beat Slovenia (4:1), Leyton Orient (3:0) and the Journalists` team (7:0).
In the next phase the Bulgarians outplayed Slavachko with 5:0. The next win came in the quarterfinals after 4:0 against Heerenveen.
In the semifinal Bulgaria played against Belarus and won the game by 2:0.
The team won the trophy after beating Dinamo Minsk with 1:0.
