The Bulgarian U21 national team beat Cyprus with 1:0 in a friendly game at Pravets stadium in Pravets. In the 10th minute Antoni Zdravkovs` players used their first good opportunity to open the scoring. Antonio Vutov made a fine run on the left side and passed the ball to Georg Iliev who was left unmarked and he netted the ball from 10 meters. In the 18th minute Georgi Minchev made a through pass in to the box, Borislav Tsonev reached the ball and shot, but the ball went just wide the right post. The guests created their first serious attack in the 30th minute. Panagiotou made a fine run on the right wing and reached the goalline. Then he crossed but Plamen Galabov cleared the ball. In the beginning of the second half Antoni Zdravkov made a few substitutions. In the 47th minute Georgi Minchev was left one on one with the goalkeeper and shot but Dimitris Tziakouris cleared the ball into a corner kick. Bulgaria managed to hold the lead to the end and won the game.
