The national Under-17 championship of Bulgaria has finished last week with a new champion to be celebrated. The newcomer DIT dominated the race during the season and was deservedly awarded as winner by the deputy general secretary of BFU Anton Popov. In its last match for the 2014-2015 season, which was scheduled to finish earlier because of the UEFA Under-17 European Championship finals starting on 6 May in Bulgaria, DIT made a 0:0 draw against Botev Plovdiv, leaving 4 points behind in the final standing the runner-up Litex Lovech with 76 points and the third placed CSKA with 75.
