Svetoslav Todorov won his debut as coach of Bulgaria national under-18 football team while the “young lions” achieved a 2:0 victory over "Eintracht" Braunschweig in a friendly match in Barzinghauzen.
Alexander Georgiev missed a good opportunity in the ninth minute. Not long after that Bozidar Kraev opened the scoring from a penalty awarded for a foul against Alexander Georgiev. In the 30th minute Tomas Tsvyatkov gave Bulgaria a 2:0 lead from a free kick.
In the second half a lot of changes were made in both teams, but there were a few good scoring opportunities and the game ended 2:0 for Bulgaria.
