The national team of Bulgaria ended 0: 0 with Romania in a friendly game, which was played at the stadium "Merdan Palace" in Antalya. Ludogorets midfielder Svetoslav Dyakov was captain of our representative team. The match with our northern neighbors was the debut of the new coach Ivaylo Petev.
Our team was more active, had more desire to play, fought for every ball, pressed the opponents most of the time and showed good football, creating several clear scoring opportunities.
10 minutes after the start of the game Mihail Aleksandrov had a strong shot from 20 meters, but the Romanian goalkeeper Silviu Lung made a save. In the 21th minute Gadjev crossed the ball form a corner kick, the ball ended in Manolev, who shot it from 11 meters, but Lung showed his class and saved.
In the 43th minute Kesheryu shot directly under the crossbar from a free kick on the right, but Bozhidar Mitrev tipped over the ball for a corner.
In the second half the “lions” created several scoring opportunities, but did not managed to score any of them and the game ended 0:0.
