Bulgarian national under-21 football team defeated OFC "Vihren" (Sandanski) 3:1 in an interesting friendly game at the Sandanski city stadium.
Bulgaria`s head coach Zdravkov gave all his available players a chance to play. He divided them into two different squads for each of the halves.
The referee awarded Bulgaria a penalty for a foul on Ilia Dimitrov in the 15th minute. Kiril Despodov converted the spot kick into a goal. The striker of Litex scored once again and gave his team a comfortable lead in the 40th minute. Kostadin Kaftanov pulled one back for the visitors just before the half-time. Bulgaria continued to dominate in the second half and in the 70th minute Bekir Rasim netted the ball for the third time from a free kick to ensure Bulgaria’s victory.
