Bulgaria National Team plays to win each game no matter the level of the competition and how strong the rival would be, the National Team coach Lyuboslav Penev said on a press conference ahead of the froendly game agaisnt Kazakhstan in Almati tonight. "I wouldn't say we would be very upset if we loose, because this is just a friendly game after all and for us it's a step of the preparation's process for the World Cup Qualifiers in September and October. What's important for me is to see the way my players will complete their tactical tasks, but this doesn't mean we won't try to win the game", Penev added. He pointed out that together with his assistant-coaches they analised in details the performance of Kazakhstan National Team and the match against Germany in particular. "It has been a pleasant surprise how well organised Kazakhstan team loked", Penev commented. His players had no problems adapting to the time difference and to the climate. "We arrived 4 days prior to match-day and we had similar conditions for the friendly against Japan so everything is alright", the coach said. According to him the Bulgaria National Team has the perfect average age of 25,4, which clearly shows that there is a space for imporovement in the performance of the team.
On 31 of May Bulgaria won 2:0 against Japan in Nagoya friendly and the game in Kazakhstan is the second one before the summer break, while Bulgaria will be waiting for the restart of the World Cup Qualifiers in September, occupying the second place in Group B of zone "Europe", 3 points behind Italy.
